No, not the food, but the board game.

My brother and sister-and-law got me this new game for my birthday. To be honest, I was little overwhelmed by all the pieces, but once we got the set up all settled, the rules all came together.

You are trying to make sushi recipes by lining up the ingredients on the cutting board. If you line it up in the order that is shown on the recipe card, you have made the roll with style. It ends up being a big visual puzzle. There are obviously way more rules than that,  but that is the gist. It was fun (and I won!)!

Added bonus the game is English and German so you can learn the German words for all the sushi ingredients.

Love new games! (thanks again)

P.S. I made Sausage Sloppy Joes for dinner the night we played this and forgot to take pictures. They were delicious. I can’t find the recipe that I used, but when I do I will share.

The set up for this game was INTENSE. But Christin is right, once you get it all set up it is really fun! I described it as having elements of scrabble and memory. Can’t wait to play again.
