iPad Air Sleeve

This is how I spent my snow day. I got a new iPad air for Christmas and it was begging for a sleeve but I didn’t know what I wanted to make and I had other projects happening. I knew what fabric I wanted to use. My mom gave me a cute little bundle a little while ago that I still had tied up with the bow that I wanted to use for me.

I had some other strips around so I added in the pink and orange strips that way. I followed the directions for the Haphazard Chevron Pillow in Quilting Happiness. I lined the sleeve with a t-shirt that shrunk in the wash.

I keep tying and retying the sleeve because I’m not sure about the closure. Kevin suggested to add a button and make the lace into a loop so I don’t have to spend time tying or untying. I like the idea but need a little break.

I hope my iPad likes its new sleeve because I do! Happy snow day!
