Knitting Pouch

I have been a little jealous of my friend’s knitting pouch, but since I made it for her I figured I could make one for myself. I think that is only kind of true.

Attempt #1

Cute, right? We’ll maybe if you want to knit one hand warmer or sock and that is all you want to put in it. I thought 9″ zipper that is definitely all I need. A nine inch square – perfect. Cute little inside detail -

Yes. I don’t think I always think through my results. I know I don’t. This is way to small for my knitting. I typically use plastic gallon bags and they usually are too small. If anyone has a need for this little pouch let me know and it is yours. Update: Colleen has claimed it. Sorry.

Attempt #2

I will make a bigger one. I won’t compare to my actual knitting though; that would be way too smart. It is bigger and it is done just in time for my Yipes Stripes knitting class.

I splurged and used some of my favorite fabric that has been in a pile for a little over a year. Look at the lining -

So cute. I crossed my fingers and started putting my yarn in for the Yipes Stripes class and look at that it fit. Just barely (and this is one of the smallest projects I have worked on in a while) but it fit.

Much better than my usual plastic bag, too. I need one more a little bigger. Ready to learn some striping, though.

Could you use the smaller one as a makeup bag?! It’s so darn cute!
